Had a phone call from recruitment who spoke to me about the job then I attended a sit down interview where they ask you about yourself and what you would do in certain situations.

Question 1
If a resident informed you that their flat is flooding what would you do?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Grainger plc (London, England) in Jul 2025
Interview
From the moment I arrived, it was clear there was a lack of preparation. No one was there to meet me for quite some time, and when someone did eventually show up, they hadn’t even looked at my CV. There was no structure, no introduction — it all felt rushed and disorganised.
For a company that talks about premium standards and leadership, the experience felt careless. First impressions matter — and how you treat people before they even start says a lot about the workplace culture. Based on this, I wouldn’t feel confident accepting an offer or committing to a role there
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Grainger plc (London, England)
Interview
Relaxed, friendly with a lot of enthusiasm. 2 rounds of interviews, both with different people. Questions about your current role, no trick questions, more of a chat than a classic interview.
