I applied online. I interviewed at Google in Mar 2021
Interview
The interview process for Google typically involves several rounds, including a phone screen, one or more onsite interviews, and a final round with a hiring committee. During the phone screen, an interviewer will ask behavioral and technical questions to assess your qualifications and fit for the role. If you pass this round, you will be invited for an onsite interview, where you will meet with several Google employees, including a mix of engineers and managers. The onsite interviews will be more in-depth, and will include both behavioral and technical questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you optimize a slow-performing web page? How do you handle web application scalability? Describe how you would implement a search feature on a website. How do you ensure the security of a web application? Describe a time when you had to debug a difficult issue in a web application.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Panvel) in Jan 2025
Interview
During the phone screening interview for the Google Apprenticeship, they asked several important questions, including: What are your goals? Why are you interested in this apprenticeship? What excites you about it?
Kept it brief. Basic leetcode easy and talked about behavioral. Interviewer was polite and fun. Last 5 minutes messing around and taking about past colleagues and the work that is being done in the team I would work in if I took the offer
