This will depend whether you stand out to a recruiter. Then they try to identify a role and work through certain interviews. That done, it’ll depend on whether you get selected internally.
Be thoroughly patient. This process can take lots of time.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Google (Singapore) in Feb 2020

Applied via Google Careers Portal with a referral.
Round 1 was with an HR on some basic technical questions related to databases and networking.
After that, I was connected with an HR coordinator who guided me on how to prepare for the subsequent interviews.
Round 2 was a Technical round with some live coding and technical troubleshooting qns.
Round 3 was with 2 interviewees, accessing my General Cognitive Ability and Leadership Ability
Round 4 was with a cross-functional interviewee
The entire process took about 1-2 months.
Thereafter, due to COVID-19, the process slowed down and my packet, though approved locally, was put on hold for 3 months.
As the situation got better, I received an update that they are again moving forward with the headcount and the HR shared compensation details, followed by an offer letter.
