Interview
I was reached by a recruiter from Google Singapore, informing there was requirement for Service Delivery Manager in Bangalore location on Feb 15 2022. She asked me to book her calender which was full and i was given an appoinment of 1 week after which was Feb 22 2022. The call was suppose to be for 30min. She joined 6min late. she was in so much hurry that she tole be to brief me about my previous experience in 2 min. When i was giving details she interrupted me(before2 min). then asked me about my current role. which was for 30 sec. Then she asked if i had any questions and told she didnt have any other question for me. I asked about google office in bangalore to which she replied, " I dont know". And dropped. the interview was not more then 10min.
She was is in so hurry i am afraid she even heard me.
It really left me heartbroken. I wnat to Say GOOGLE that it might be just a random candidate for you. But it was a dream job role and dream company for me.
I kept following up with her. she didnt respond. Later she responded that i was not selected. Without any interview I was REJECTED.
You guys should have not reached out to me in first place if you did not have time to interview.
Such big company and such behaviour. Its really SAD.

It was easy, I had the experience already so it was a no brainer for me into doing it. Still, I had to prepare for a lot of things but eventually I got the job thankfully. However I declined due to personal reasons.

Interview
O processo de entrevista é bem definido. Primeiro você faz um screening com o RH e depois passa por mais 3 ou 4 entrevistas com pessoas de áreas com as quais você interagiria, com alguém do seu potencial time e o dono da vaga. Cada uma delas tem um objetivo específico: verificar o seu fit cultural, a sua integração com o time e atestar o seus conhecimentos. Para cargos técnicos há uma entrevista a mais dedicada a esse fim.
Os entrevistadores te deixam confortável e tentam conduzir a entrevista como uma conversa tranquila. Não há pegadinhas nas perguntas, o que você precisa é dominar o assunto, ter se preprado antes e responder de forma estruturada, clara e objetiva.
O grande problema desse processo seletivo é que entre uma fase e outra demora demais, pode chegar a 3 ou 4 meses de processo e fica realmente difícil gerenciar a ansiedade ainda mais quando você quer muito que dê certo.
