I applied online. I interviewed at Goodwill (Houston, TX) in Feb 2022
Interview
I got stood up. I initially got a message back fairly quick and in the message was a scheduled interview for the following week. I never received my confirmation email and when asked they stated that due to a scheduling issue they’d have to reschedule another day. The so said scheduled interview is coming up and i’ve yet to receive the confirmation email needed for the interview. Needless to say, huge red flag on the management side of things.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Goodwill (Woodstock, GA) in Aug 2018
Interview
Walked in went to the back with the hiring manager and asked several questions. Had me take an oral drug test. Said I was a great fit for the job that was available
It was very simple and basically hassle free. Background check. The Donor Specialist position is not a management job, so the hiring process for this position was extremely simple. I really don't have any other input, they just want to make sure that a person is physically able to perform this job due to heavy lifting.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No difficult questions as this is not a management position. The main question seemed to deal with honesty. As a Donor Specialist, especially at an independent location, there's the concern of theft.
