TLDR: Crazy interview process. Honestly a red flag when a company needs 7 rounds to determine if you’re a fit. I had the same conversation 6 times, made it through each round, only for the CEO (in the final round) to look at my resume and say “this isn’t a fit for what I’m looking for”. Honestly a waste of my time and their time! Director and manager clearly cow-tow to CEO, even after he self-admittedly “has no idea what a CSM does”, since his background is in development. Genuinely wish I listened to these reviews before investing so much of my time and energy into this process. At more than one point it felt like the CEO was simply trying to get intel on how other companies run their CS department which was insulting at best.
