This is the worst way of hiring people in any company. The process is an introductory call (the hr person was not so friendly), then they send you a 1-hour hackerrank exercise to check your skills in Python, ML-coding and some random multiple choices. Then a take-home assignment and then a live video call exercise. This process shows no trust to your resume and of course it shows trust issues for a future collaboration. At the first 1-hour hackerrank, the python and ML submissions were all correct and I had some mistakes in the multiple choices with random questions about distributions and statistics and not with ML questions. They told me that we can't continue because of these mistakes. In that case, I don't want to continue too, because they give importance in questions unrelated to the ML engineer position (they didn't ask for distributions too in the job posting). Bad hiring process overall showing no trust from the very beginning.
