First phone call was with a recruiter, very positive and upbeat. This was followed by brief technical screen done over the phone with an engineer covering basic questions about Python. The second technical interview was easily the most bizarre experience I have ever had, by a wide margin. The interview is done using a shared coding pad while the interviewer calls you on the phone. The interviewer presented me with a technical problem to solve and then was for all intents and purposes remained silent for the rest of the interview. Occasionally (two times in a 60 minute screen) the interviewer asked what my line of thinking was when solving the problem but provided no feedback (positive or negative) during the technical screen. Just silence. He finished the interview with “Do you have any questions? Otherwise let’s just wrap this up” Would not recommend interviewing if this is any indication of the workplace environment. Terrible experience.
