Unrealistic expectations for a per diem role. Asked me to cut back on my hours on my primary job (which pays for bills) in order to allow them to flex time for 2-3 shifts that pay about 1/3 of my regular pay. The person that interviewed me even went on to say that they discourage giving a scribing position unless a student is only studying 1/2 time. Extremely unrealistic expectation to expect people to drop/halt their life for a per diem position. Seems like they just want to take advantage of people's (especially young people) ambition for the medical field. I've had a couple years work experience before deciding on pursuing medicine, but this does make me concerned for young people applying here for scribing experience!! Strongly encourage you to advocate for yourself!
