      Personal Trainer Interview

      31 Jan 2013
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Dundalk, MD
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Gold's Gym (Dundalk, MD) in Dec 2011

      Interview

Applied online, received a call back about 3 weeks later. Went in for an interview and the interviewer was 15mins late, not a good start. Received the usual questions (Why do you want to work here? What is your greatest strength? etc). After that, I was asked questions about health and fitness. Then I was given a list of foods and had to say whether they were a carb, fat, or protein and a list of exercises and had to say which body part they worked.

      Interview

Great and easy conversation. Manager was very nice and easy to talk to. Was more like a typical conversation than an interview. After the interview we actually went through a few exercises and I had to write out a training plan for different individuals.

      Interview

It was a pretty easy-going interview. They did ask lots of questions, but it wasn't intimidating. It lasted a little over 30 minutes. They were really just trying to get to know me and see if i would be a good fit for the enviroment.
