I was contacted by a recruitment agency and the interview was scheduled. I reached their office on time and reported to the reception; I dialed into her through my cellphone and she greeted me after 15 mins. She then took me to a meeting room which was already occupied by another candidate and handed over a paper with 7 programming questions and 2 hours to complete the same. I completed all the questions in 80 minutes; the meeting rooms were not soundproof hence there was a lot of distraction and disturbance while we were trying to implement our solutions. I called the HR again submitted my answers and was asked to wait at the reception; after 10 mins she sent another person back to me; who mentioned that they found my response quite average and they had other above average candidates to interview on priority and that they would get back in touch with me if required. After this I decided not to take things forward as I found their response unprofessional and was sure that they did not go through my entire solutions. All the 7 questions were very easy and I think any programmer with hands on experience can solve them in 120 mins.
