Interview
The first step is a phone call/screening with the office manager. This was professional and went well.
The reason I am marking the experience negative is that I was informed that I would hear an answer by the end of the week about whether or not I would be going to the next step in the interview process.
I heard nothing further and sent a thank you email to follow up. I got no response and another week went by, so I called and left a voicemail to follow up again. Since then, I have received no correspondence.
I more than understand not getting selected, but I find it unprofessional to tell applicants that they will hear an answer, negative or positive, and then ghost the candidate completely. I would never treat a possible employer like this, and I was pretty surprised to see a respectable company treat applicants as such.
