The hiring manager spent 20 good minutes talking about the role of the job and using her life as examples of what kind of people they are looking for that will fit the role. She never asked me any questions about my qualifications. Never wanted to know anything about me. Just quite literally, asked me to come in for a trial shift that was UNPAID and lasts for 6 hours. She also proceeded to tell me I'll most likely be a temp (covering for the current runners, 2 of them, if they ever fall sick or had to take days off). Needless to say, it was not a good experience.
