It was overall an easy process if went through the school career fair, Made some connections, and sealed the deal. First is a background call check and the next round is with the hiring manager (dept in need). It did take some time to hear back but constant checks and follow-ups will help.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Gilead Sciences (Morris Plains, NJ)
Interview
HR screen followed by hiring manager review. HR confirms that you are a real person/ meet the values of the company, and hiring manager can ask you any range of questions from personal to technical.
Met with HR, and then two interviews with management. Straight forward and friendly. First interview was basic tell me about yourself, second more technical questions. Second interviewer did not know I had already spoken with management.
