I applied online. I interviewed at Georgetown University (Washington, DC) in Jun 2013
Interview
A very informal interview with the department chair, the incoming department chair, and the outgoing admin assistant. It was all very low key and friendly. Georgetown lacks any sort of recruitment office that makes these experiences more professional.

Question 1
Why did I want to move from a developed career in the private sector into higher education?
I applied through the Student Employment Website by sending my resume and cover letter.
I was interviewed the following week. They asked general behavioral questions and about previous experience working in an office.
It was a quick process and they gave me an offer a few days after the interview.
The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Georgetown University
Interview
My interview went great! I was asked the typical questions such as what are your strengths and weaknesses, what are your future goals, how do you handle stress, etc. I was offered the position a few days after I interviewed and accepted.
I applied online. I interviewed at Georgetown University
Interview
I was initially screened with a telephone call, and then I was invited back for a more formal interview with part of the team. Finally, I came back a final time to take a competency test and meet the entire team (they travel a lot!) All in all, I came in 4 or 5 times to interview with the main team, the director of the team, the assistant director of the school and the HR manager.
