They were upfront about job responsibilities, pay, and benefits. Two screens and then 3-hour in-person interview with case studies and a final interview. The questions aligned closely with the job description.

Describe your qualifications for the role.
Tell me about a time when you had to encourage your manager to pursue a different course of action.
After completing an application, it was a couple of weeks before the interview. The interview was easy to schedule and was conducted in front of a panel. The questions were straightforward, the panel seemed interested, and the questions were relevant to the director's position and my vision for the job.

Interview
I had a quick phone screener from the hiring manager's assistant, then I was scheduled for an interview. The interview took place with two people, it was fine but it was clear that neither of them had any particular knowledge of the subject matter expertise required for the position.
