An introductory call with COO about the role, followed by call with CEO & CSO to gauge cultural fit and communication.
Next was a technical homework assignment that tested some basics of deep learning and engineering ability through 2 problems, which took a couple of hours each.
The final round was a full day virtual (COVID) onsite, for which they offered to compensate me as a consultant, which was a great sign of them being in touch with the reality for candidates. It involved working through a very well designed, more involved deep learning problem to solve a toy version of a real problem they were trying to solve. Also hopped on a call to join the entire team for lunch, which was lovely.
