HR and the hiring team are obviously struggling to keep up.
The initial screen call from HR went very well. I was initially quite excited for an opportunity for the offer of an in person even though the salary range, 35k-50k, would be a significant reduction from my current salary. They wanted me to come in the following week for an in person at the office as they urgently wanted to fill the position or so they said. I show up for my in person interview at the time that we initially agreed upon only to be informed that HR had scheduled it for two hours later. They pulled a few employees away from their work so they could interview me. They sat down and immediately informed me they had no idea a position for a trainer was being made nor did they have any prepared information. I was told that the hiring manager had the day off at this point too. All in all an absolute waste of my time and a demonstration of incompetence and lack of communication from multiple departments.
