I had a phone interview after submitting my resume online. I was interviewed by a non-technical recruiter who asked me basic questions about my skills and credentials. After the interview, I was asked to participate on an assignment for four hours, which was due online. I accepted and enjoyed doing the exercise. I was asked to make a wireframe, a high fidelity prototype, and an implementation of a navigational menu for a specific application. It was a learning experience for me since I am starting my job hunt. I was expecting a "programming exercise" not a UI exercise. I am glad I got this interview because now I have an idea of what to expect next time and how to prepare. The interviewer was very helpful and provided me some feedback after the submission of my assignment.
