I applied on LinkedIn and was contacted by HR. The interview lasted 30 minutes, during which they explained the role but not the company’s business model. The next day, HR called me to proceed with an interview with Kate (the hiring manager). They told me to schedule the interview immediately because it was urgent, and they booked it with Kate just a few days later (without much time to prepare).
The interview with Kate was more of a casual chat, with no technical questions, and I’m not sure which soft skills were assessed. She mostly talked about the company’s strategy and organization and asked me 2-3 questions. She asked if I had any experience with managed services. She then started talking about BSO without explaining what BSO stands for. I asked for clarification, and she explained it.
Two days later, I was rejected because I didn’t know the meaning of BSO and because I hadn’t understood Genpact’s business model.
