I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Genesys in Oct 2015
Interview
Brad Lienberger recruited me for this role. The process was smooth and he provided feedback along each step of the way. He worked hard to make sure I was prepared for each interview by providing me info on the company, it's culture and how it operates.
I have worked with recruiters for many years and found brad to be a top of the line recruiter with his follow up, feedback and thoroughness on the entire process.
First impressions are important and Brad being mine helped me make the decision to make the leap over.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked questions around past experience and cultural things.
The initial call was with the recruiter. This was followed by a call with the sales director. The final interview was with a leadership team prior to offer. I was able to ask plenty of questions and they were transparent about the position.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Genesys (San Francisco, CA) in May 2022
Interview
The recruiter who reached out was very helpful during the process and interview process was quick so I could make a decision. This was not drawn out like a lot of interviews I have had in the past. It has been my pleasure to interview at Genesys and all of the team were absolute professionals.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe what you current sell?
What is a typical sales process look like for you?
Go to Market plan?
Background?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Genesys in Apr 2021
Interview
Numerous Zoom interviews. Interviewed 2x with hiring manager, his boss and the bosses boss. Panel interview with pre-sales, sales and IT. Zoom interview with another sales rep. All of this over a 6 weeks period, final interview with hiring manager was told I would hear from recruiter the next week and offer would be forthcoming. Crickets and only a generic email from hiring manager since. Very unprofessional to lead a candidate all the way thru this process, then stop communicating and not provide transparency of where candidate is at in the hiring decision.
This is a two way street and Genesys needs to sell themselves as much as the candidate does. If they came back and offered a job to me now I would decline based on the professionalism that was displayed at the end of the interview process.
