The interview was very simple and easy for a seasoned manager. I did my research before going into the several levels of interviews. I noticed on Linkedin that they had several senior people on the team whom are easily qualified to manage the team. When I interviewed with the Hiring Manager, he assured me that they are looking for candidates with fresh ideas. Knowing what I already knew, I should have declined the interview request and process as it is a complete waste of time and energy in that they alread have internal candidates lined up. I went through a panel interview with four peer managers most were checked out during the interview. I received a note after prompting the recruiter a few times for an update that they had selected someone with cloud.... experience internally.
