I applied online. I interviewed at Genesys (Hyderābād) in Feb 2023
Interview
1. HR Screening - HR will ask why are you switching company and ask about your projects as well 2. Technical - One of the worst technical interview I have ever attended. First question was to explain about mobilenet architecture and followed by implementation of self attention (!) Within one hour. If they had to reject candidates they can straight away reject after the HR screening. This way of giving impossible task and rejecting candidates seem to be a bit disappointing and demotivating !

Interview
I appeared for an AI/ML engineer interview and was asked one interview question which I could solve with a hint at the very last. Then, I was given another follow-up question and it took some time. So he asked me to park it and provide an approach to it. later on, he asked me if I had any questions.

Interview
I recently had an interview experience that left a bad taste in my mouth. The interviewer was incredibly rude and disrespectful throughout the entire process. It was clear from the start that they had no intention of making me feel welcome or comfortable. I was informed that the interview process is as follows: 1. Phone screening from recruitment team 2. Technical Round (No Coding) 3. Technical Round (Coding) 4. HR/Managerial Round But the 2nd round had coding questions.

Question 1
To make matters worse, the interviewer asked me to implement self-attention mechanism from scratch (the only question he asked), which is a task that even experienced engineers would find challenging. I don't have any experience in NLP by the way. I was stunned by the request, as it was completely unreasonable and unrealistic for an interview. He straight away told me "I am not interested in candidates like you" and ended the interview in a rude and unprofessional way. The interviewer showed no interest in my background or experience, and seemed more interested in showing off their own knowledge and intelligence. It was a power trip, plain and simple. I left the interview feeling completely demoralized and disrespected. It's a shame that a company would allow someone like this to represent them in the hiring process. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone and would strongly caution anyone considering interviewing with this company to proceed with caution.
