I was very interested in Gelato values and culture but I have to say that the reality of my experience feels very much different from those ones.
I was asked to do logic and personality tests which is already a wrong way to evaluate people since they compare candidates results against one only possibile logic while many others could be right too.
Anyway, my results were good and fitting the role I had applied to.
After the test I was invited to an interview with the Talent Acquisition Manager which was a relatively good experience.
He asked me about my experience and some situation based questions, then about Gelato values in a bit too obsessed way.
At the end of the interview, he told me he would have let me know in 48 hours and I mentioned that I wouldn't have been able to have another interview for the following 2 weeks because of personal reasons.
He seemed ok with this but the day after I got a mail from him saying they wouldn't have moved me to the next step since other candidates were a better fit for the role.
The funny part was that he said that they decided about my candidacy after thoroughly consideration when actually, I was interviewed on Friday morning and got the email the day after at 10.30am.
I don't see how they had the time to carefully evaluated me against others candidates.
