I applied through other source. I interviewed at Gaylor Electric (West Lafayette, IN) in Sept 2019
Interview
Had an on-campus career fair at Purdue University in September '19. Went to two events for the company. Got an interview, conducted over the phone. I was sent an offer by HR rep a few weeks later.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Gaylor Electric (Jacksonville, FL)
Interview
Was reached out by a recruiter for a screening call. He sent me a calendar to add myself for a scheduled call. He had no open spots. I tell him that, he tells me he has time tomorrow, he will call me at 11. An hour before call I verify with him that the call is still on. By 12:30, still no call. He texts me saying he had an unexpected meeting, but he can “take his personal time to call me at 6pm”. I said sure, he never calls again. From that point on, he has ignored me. Horrible experience. If this is how you treat interviews I’d hate to see how you treat your employees.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I would add one if they ever actually followed through instead of wasting my time.
I applied online. I interviewed at Gaylor Electric
Interview
Very informal and conversational discussion mostly over personality type and your approach to problem-solving in a team environment. Seems like they just wanted to get a feel for how you'd fit into the company and what you're looking for as an employee.
