I was asked to interview on-site via email. I lived out of state and was relocating to Minnesota. I asked if I could do a phone or Skype interview (seems reasonable in the 21st century). About 2 minutes later, I get a generic reply saying that they’ve moved onto other candidates. I understand that it is the company’s decision as to who they interview and how but the sheer crass and impersonal reply was really rude and made me very grateful they chose to not interview a great candidate like me with years of skills and personality to offer. Your loss.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gaughan Companies (Forest Lake, MN) in Aug 2016
Interview
The process was very quick. I was emailed and asked to come in to interview. I was interviewed and then was quickly offered the position. I interviewed with the supervisor of the position, the operations manager and the owner of the company. They asked me about my experience and gave background about the position. Overall, it was a good interview.

How do you feel about working with a ghost writer?
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Gaughan Companies (Forest Lake, MN) in Dec 2017
Interview
The interviewers were very cold and unresponsive. He asked questions of why I left my past companies. How much I currently was paid. How I enjoyed highschool. He then went on to tell me of what I need to do to reach my goals. He didn't talk about any aspect of the position they were interviewing for. He had an issue that I have a larger company background versus working for small companies. It was almost like he didn't even read my resume. I felt I was interviewing for a different job. Wondered why they called me if they had so many issues. Worst interview on have ever done.

Question 1
What I was being paid currently which I felt was quite inappropriate. If you have a pay expectation you should include that in your ad.
