I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner in Jul 2019
Interview
Through networking on LinkedIn I was lucky to get an employee referral. I was so excited and was emailed by a Talent Sourcer and set up a phone call. Phone call went well and the Talent Sourcer had only positive feedback for me. Said she was passing along my application for two positions and to email her if I had not heard anything by a certain day. I did not hear anything by said date, so I emailed the Talent Sourcer. Another week went by, so I sent another follow up email. I never heard from anyone again. Very unprofessional and rude.
4 stage process
1: Teams with a Talent Sourcer, 2: Teams with your future Manager, 3: a Teams call with a key stakeholder whos team you would be sourcing for, Finally an In person Panel interview.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Irving, TX) in Sept 2024
Interview
I applied on their website. I was contacted within a few days for a screen. Following the screen, there was a BBI, Lead Skills Assessment, and then final interview with Hiring Manager.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gartner (Barcelona) in Jul 2023
Interview
I was contacted by a Gartner recruiter for a Talent Sourcer opportunity. I scheduled a phone chat, which lasted half an hour. We discussed Gartner, my experience, and KPIs. All seemed positive. The recruiter mentioned I was a good fit, shared the salary range, and scheduled a video call for the following week. However, after not receiving any invite, I contacted the recruiter but received no response. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
