I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at GardaWorld
Interview
Quite easy. Questions on customer service and about yourself. Undergo just one interview. And had to do a part down. Nothing difficult. You are being shown first then you do it
I applied online. I interviewed at GardaWorld (Toronto, ON) in May 2019
Interview
Might take 2 months or less to Garda invite you for the hiring event after apply. I believe that they invite everyone who apply specially because they know that a lot will fail. As many people said already, first test is 20 pictures of X-ray (20 seconds each) for you to see gun, granate, knife or none threat. Pay attention to the explanation gave before. The 'Garda lady' is very friendly and gives all possible tips to see any threat. It's VERY useful. 20 seconds for each pic are LOT. This test was easy for me. HR was surprise because a lot of people passed. Maybe the lady gave too many tips lol. If you pass, the next is multiple question test. 100 questions of basic grammar, math, pattern, etc, to be answered in 1h. I finished in 40min and had a chance to review few wrong answers hehe. The next and last step is an interview. Many people think that this step is easy and it's (lol) BUT PAY ATTENTION HOW YOU DRESS YOURSELF. Few guys failed because they were not in a professional attire. It's mandatory guys.
Fast, efficient. Write 2 exams once your application is accepted then an interview and after that was called and offered the job. The whole process was pretty easy, though the day of the exams and interview it was pretty long.
Interview was quite easy, there were mostly general questions asking about myself and my availability. There were some situational based questions like what would you do if you encounter an angry passenger, what would you do if someone refuses to get his/her luggage scanned.
