Being hired at a gamestop is not something that takes much skill or experience. You really just need to show that particular store manager that you know things about video games and are willing to talk to people. They will try and teach you everything else about the job as you go along.

What would you say are your strengths and weaknesses?
Very simple and easy going. First was a group interview and then an official secondary interview at the store. Everything was communicated very well and all questions were relevant to experience needed.
I was asked several behavioural questions, to determine my suitability for working in a retail environment. The focus was on my ability to learn and understand the store rules, as well as be able to handle customer needs. Very little was asked about video games.
