I came into this interview genuinely excited about the opportunity, but unfortunately left feeling discouraged by the experience.
From the start, the conversation felt one-sided and unwelcoming. There was little effort to create a comfortable environment, which made it difficult to perform at my best. Throughout the interview, I noticed a pattern where my answers were assumed to be complete before I had finished, which then led to repeated requests for clarification on the same points. It created unnecessary friction and made the exchange feel more combative than collaborative.
A good interview process gives candidates the space to communicate clearly. That space was not present here. I left questioning whether the culture reflected in this interview was representative of the company as a whole.
For candidates considering applying: go in prepared for a very cold and transactional experience. For GameChangers: investing in the candidate experience, particularly around active listening, would go a long way.
