I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Galois (Portland, OR) in Mar 2022
Interview
After talking to their amazing recruiter, I moved onto the second stage. This stage involved a group interview with executives (CEO, Board Member, another BDD). After that, I met with another executive and BDD together. The fourth stage was individual interviews with the CFO, Founder and Head of Engineering. There would have been a 5th stage, as well. I did not make it to the 5th stage. Each person was very impresssive and asked tough questions. They are very careful to make sure you fit the "Galois" culture. I can't recall an interview process where everyone responded to my "thank you" email. The Galois interview process should be a model for how interviews are executed. Although I didn't get an offer, they set the bar for how I believe interviews should be conducted. The level of difficulty was pretty high as they dug into many aspects of my work history. They were also interested in getting to know me as a person and learning how I would approach different scenarios.
