I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gallagher (Milwaukee, WI) in Oct 2018
Interview
Very casual, easy going interview composed of only behavior questions. It felt much more like a conversation rather than a formal interview which also reveals a lot about the culture at Gallagher.
2 rounds. One phone call with younger producers, one with the presidents of each division in which you rotate between 2 rooms. Both were online (on Zoom or phone). Not really technical, more behavioral and character based.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Gallagher (Rolling Meadows, IL) in Dec 2025
Interview
It is a great way to get experience talking to many high-level people at a national company. The first screening process is easy enough, but the second round is with six other people. There are three rounds, and it is all behavoral.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is your biggest weakness that your friends would say about you?
There were 4 rounds- one phone call, 3 teams meetings. Everyone was extremely friendly and asked questions to get to know you better. There were no curveballs or tricky questions.
