I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Galileo Learning (San Francisco, CA) in May 2015
Interview
The in person interview is a group interview with a one-on-one portion. You will go to a location with other candidates and you will walk through what a normal day at camp is like. You are asked to prepare a lesson/game/song to teach the rest of the group. Following the group interview, you go and have a one-on-one chat with a camp director. The interview consists of interview questions similar to those on the online application form.

Question 1
Name a time when you received constructive criticism and how you responded to it.
The group interview was fun and not stressful at all! It was really cool to hear from other potential candidates. We all had a chance to answer questions and it became more of a discussion versus interview.

Question 1
How would you handle a child who didn’t want to participate?
Group interview with 4 other people, and the hiring manager. Very friendly. Had each of us present a camp/ icebreaker activity that we came prepared with and a couple of behavioral questions. Got a response a couple of weeks after!
