I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gainsight (Springville, UT) in Oct 2017
Interview
I had interviews with a variety of individuals and leaders on the SEM, Professional Services and Services Ops teams. It was great to get a wide perspective on their individual takes pertaining to the role and expectations of an SEM. I was also asked to conduct a presentation as part of the final interview - my experience in delivering success at the Enterprise level. The overall experience was entirely positive.

Question 1
Experience with Enterprise-level customers was very important. I was asked to outline how I communicate with executives and directors, and how I mitigated and dealt with risks with clients at the enterprise level.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gainsight
Interview
Contacted by recruiter; completed several rounds of phone interviews with hiring authorities; provided very "positive" feedback; advised they're moving forward with other candidates; no feedback as to why. Advice to Management: Don't mislead candidates; transparency is crucial in the hiring process. Remember, candidates, are interviewing you as much as you're interviewing them.

Question 1
What style of management (oversight) do I like and why?
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. Your point is right on: the interview is mutual and it's up to us at Gainsight to keep that in mind. It sounds like you feel like we led you on and failed to give you the appropriate level of feedback. Again, thanks for letting us know.
