Started with a recruiter phone screen, then hiring manager, then a ridiculously “relevant” and vague assessment. The thorn here is there’s no guarantee that you’ll get to present it to a panel, plus the assessment itself is super unfair. It is EXACTLY what GOAT is trying to figure out, and they want candidates to basically give them ideas for free. Of course, after submitting the huge deck that was lauded by literally the most expert recruiting professionals in the world as well as their own C-suite exec, they decide to “move on with other finalists”. Yet the role was just reposted. They are literally fishing for free work - do not take the bait like I did, it’s a rouse.
