      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GEICO in Oct 2017

      Interview

Applied online, completed two online assessments, one a personality assessment, and the other was a basic aptitude assessment involving reading comprehension and spacial thinking. Phone interview a couple days later with a recruiter basically asking me if I had any issues about the job itself, working conditions, salary, the training requirement and why I wanted the job, was a good fit for the company. That training requires you to be out of state for two months, no chance to come home except for like a week in between the two classes. Later that same day I had another phone interview, this with a hiring manager for my area. More in depth about my desire to join the company, my understanding of the job, job details, and some scenario questions. I thought it went well, was fully expecting to move to the next step only to get an email a week later saying, thanks but no thanks. Emailed the recruiter I spoke with for feedback as to why I wasn't chosen, no response. Thanks a lot.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

You have 20 minutes before your next appointment at 2pm. It will take you 15 minutes to get there, you need to send a critical email by 2pm, and you need to return a phone call to a client regarding a complaint. How do you manage your time?

      Question 2

You write up a damage estimate that details the time it should take to repair the damage and the expected costs. The service provider (body shop) disagrees, saying it should take double the time, thus increasing the costs. What do you do?

      Interview

Good experience with this company and interview process. They asked questions pertaining to past job experience and questions regarding the job itself. The recruiter was nice and friendly, as well.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at GEICO (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2025

      Interview

applied and was asked to do a assessment which was pretty straightforward. Then did a 20 min zoon interview with a recruiter. They explained a little about the job, salary, training and that I would be invited for a 2nd interview with the leadership team. A little strange interview also, they didn't really ask any questions about myself, just asked how many times I've shown up late for work in my past job and why I had a gap in my employment. A few days later I got a automated email that the job had been filled already. Seems just because you are told you made it to the 2nd and final round doesn't mean you will. They seem to hire first come first serve.

      Question 1

What do you know about the job? Why do you have a gap in your employment history? How many times have you been late to work in the past 5 years?

      Interview

I did a zoom interview, which wasn’t the issue. The issue was I felt like there were no questions asked linked directly to the job I was applying for. I’m use to more behavioral based questions and they asked a lot of random filler questions, had me guessing why are they even interviewing me??
