      Applied online and received emailed link for Personality Assessment that same day. Passed and had phone interview a week later. The interviewer told me I sounded like a good fit for the position and scheduled a time for me to come in for testing. As previous posters have stated once applicants make it to the testing stage the hiring process becomes an all day process (testing, 1-1 interview, role play, shadowing, more interviews, etc.) in most cases. When I arrived I was told that I did not have to take the typing/multitasking tests as I had already done so a couple years back. I sat in the lobby for over an hour waiting for my 1-1 interview to take place only to be told I would hear back from the hiring manager in a minimum of seven days if I was chosen to move forward. B.S.- I received the rejection email exactly one week later. Geico states on their website that most of their locations are located in small towns and I believe small town mentalities are definitely apart of the Geico Mantra. Everyone I came in contact with gave me an Old South impression (I believe they were intimidated by the fact that I am a minority and more educated and sophisticated than them) from the security guard to my last interviewer. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with Geico considering how friendly the phone interviewer was. I am seriously considering having the authorities look into Geico's hiring practices.       There are two rounds. The first round is virtual and they ask about your background and if you can handle the process. For the second-round, You will shadow someone for 20 minutes then proceed for a 40 minute interview. There are a lot of situational questions.

      It was a weird process, first it was on zoom and my interviewer told me to turn off my camera because of the bandwidth issues. Then she asked three questions and provided me the job description and the hours. She then asked me if I was looking for other work and If I was currently working. I did tell her that I am currently working and she told me that I have enough time to provide my current job a two weeks notice. After the interview she told me that she was going to endorse my application for review. Then she sent me another email saying that “Your recruiter will be in touch with you for next steps”. Then in the middle of night not even 24 hrs, I get a generic email saying that I was passed on. I wanted to find out why did I get an email saying that a recruiter was going to contact me, then I passed on from someone else. This was a customer service position and during the interview she told me that I have a lot of experience. I just didn’t like during that interview I was given false hope. I would not recommend applying to this company.
