I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GE HealthCare in Aug 2009
Interview
Process went very quickly. Submitted resume on their website, had initial questionnaire and phone interview within a week, they contacted me within the next week to schedule an onsite interview. Sent application immediately. Hiring manager very good at keeping me updated. Unfortunately, corporate cancelled the opening due to hiring freeze, but manager again kept me posted and is trying to get position opened again this year. All in all, company has been super in communication and the interview was actually fun.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at GE HealthCare in Aug 2010
Interview
First had a phone interview. That was followed by meeting at the GE plant with two lead QA people and the QA manager, each 1:1, each for about an hour. Very general questions, also a tour of the manufacturing floor. No technical questions, just those of my history, example of my past experience with specific QA issues and situations. I got the impression that it went very well and that there were no issues of concern. Had a very positive response fro the hiring manager, who used spoke of a possible offer within a few days.
