I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GCS Technologies (Austin, TX) in Sept 2023
Interview
The two interviewers went over my resume and work history. One of them asked about my networking knowledge and troubleshooting support. The other person asked about my technical resolution questions and my pros and cons from each manager's perspective.

Question 1
Name a time when you had a difficult person and how you handled it.
Typical interview process, I declined just after the second round. The hiring manager sounded depressed and draining so I can't imagine working there with the team. He's basically the squidward of GCS tech. No diversity, decent benefits but overall okay place to work for. You can do better.

Interview
I applied for the NOC Tech role in late July 2020 and didn't hear anything until early September.
After a phone screen with the manager a week later I was then scheduled for a Teams meeting the following week with the manager and another manager.
I then heard nothing until I decided to reach out several weeks later in October.
I was told that they were still looking, but wouldn't be picking me. It is my understanding that they want a Tier 2 tech to fill their Tier 1 roles.

I was asked for several port numbers, layers of OSI and several questions surrounding AD, Azure, etc.
