Basic interview , not too technical. Friendly interviewers, but not very knowledgeable. Salary not nnegotiable . Working from home allowed . No physical interviews . Max three people in the panel. Had two rounds
4-stage process:
HR screening, hiring manager interview, technical interview, and final interview with leads. All of this just to get ghosted — not even a rejection email. NOTHING. Don't waste your time with this company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you handle disagreements with your coworkers?
POO, Design patterns, etc.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GBG (Chester, England) in Jan 2022
Interview
Their recruitment section found my profile online, contacted me and had a initial phone screen conversation. Recruiter friendly. Forwarded my CV to the hiring manager, then a MS teams video with the hiring manager.
Rejected a week later, due to lack of "technical knowledge", even though this wasn't a specific technical interview.
I would agree with other interview reviews where the writer is an "experienced" applicant. The 'A' word seems appropriate.
Thanks for the review. We value feedback to adapt and improve our candidate experience and we’re disappointed that your interview experience wasn’t positive. We’ll certainly pick this up with our team to ensure that we provide the best recruitment experience moving forward.
Please get in touch if you want to discuss the above, or your feedback, in more detail.
