The interview process had 5 parts.
- Initial screening call with HR - background question and company specific question - nice and informative
- One day homework - implementation of data engineering task, nicely structured with clear main points and possible optional points, but with limited scope so that the amount of work wasn't too much.
- Interview with the direct manager - very good interview, with questions regarding the implementation of the homework and also to my previous experience. This interview was a good incentive on joining the company for me.
- Interview with co-founder - great interview with the co-founder discussing motivations and past experiences and also an option to ask various in-depth questions with regards to the company as a whole. This interview was the strongest motivator for me to join.
- My final interview was with HR. While it was an interesting conversation, I found some parts a bit confusing and a few questions seemed less directly connected to the role. It did make me take a moment to think more carefully about whether the position would be the right fit for me
