Had an initial phone screen, basically just checking that I had the experience and skills on my resume. Then had a phone call with my would-be manager, also just telling me more about the role and basic interview questions. Both went well and were very easy, and had an in-person interview scheduled, but literally the night (not afternoon but NIGHT) before my scheduled interview I got an emergency email telling me the position was not closed.
