      Senior Developer Interview

      23 Jun 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Frontline Education in Jun 2017

      Interview

Before beginning the interview process I was asked to provide a code sample. This was before the phone screen and I was told it was a fairly straightforward task. In fact the recruiter left out a huge amount of extra information and thus did not give me any chance of succeeding.

      Interview questions [1]

Thank you for applying with Frontline Education. We do ask for code samples for some of our technical roles. Our questions may be purposely ambiguous by design. We encourage our candidates to provide their solutions and methodologies. How a question is answered is as important as the answer itself. It helps us identify the candidates that have the level of technical skill required for the role, and those who will succeed in the Frontline Education culture. We wish you the best in your job search.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Frontline Education

      Interview

All interviews were done via webex. Everything was comfortable and the questions were reasonable. All questions were based off of my experience and how I would handle things. It was nice dealing with a company that didn't give a technical test that takes days to do.
