How do you prioritize work if you have 250 to 300 accounts

TheyAsked about five questions and they were all pretty simple. Example, why do you think you’d be good at this job tell me about your résumé, etc. she was very sweet and conversational and was moved onto the second round.
I thought it was running smoothly but ended up not being processed to the next round with reason that “the hiring manager needs/prefers someone with beauty industry related experience” which could have been figured from resume screening first before wasting someone’s time. Also, took so long for each update of the interview progress.
