I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Frank Rimerman and Co LLP (Palo Alto, CA) in Apr 2014
Interview
Phone interview with HR in which past work experience was discussed. This was followed by an office interview that had four parts. The office interview you'll have a couple of interviews with various levels within the firm. The first will be with a recruiting/HR person. It's the kind of an interview to help get you in the zone and calm you down. The next will be with a manager or director. They will either be from Tax or Audit. After that you'll have an interview with a partner who will be in Audit or Tax, usually whatever the manager/director wasn't in. Finally you'll have a lunch interview with associates.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What has been the most meaningful experience of college?
The interviewers were very personable. The process feels much more like a conversation between two people as opposed to a line of questioning, which was characteristic of other interviews I had with larger firms in the industry.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Frank Rimerman and Co LLP (San Jose, CA) in Jun 2020
Interview
I went through two interviews, the first was a 30 minute introduction interview with one person, and the second was a 2 hour final interview with five different employees. Everyone was very friendly and informative. They made it clear they love their jobs and the firm itself. Show that same enthusiasm!
