I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Fox Corporation in Jun 2026
Interview
It was a three-stage interview process. The first stage was a recruiter screening where we discussed a machine learning project from my portfolio. The second stage was a technical interview with an MLOps engineer that focused heavily on the project, including design decisions, tradeoffs, edge cases, and potential improvements. The final stage was an onsite conversation with leadership, which was fairly informal and included a brief tour of the studio. Overall, the process was conversational and centered around discussing past work, technical decision-making, and ownership.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
During the technical interview, I was asked how I would redesign parts of my project if it needed to operate at a much larger scale. The discussion focused on architecture decisions, tradeoffs, and scalability considerations.
Hardly technical at all, asked about previous experiences and what you’ve done during your classes. It was a two step process, one phone screen with recruiter and one 30 min interview with onsite manager. No coding assessment during the interview.
Quick HR screen, asked questions about resume, experience, and what technologies you know. Lasted about 30 minutes, not too technical at all. I would recommend brushing up on your resume.
