I applied online. I interviewed at Four Growers (Pittsburgh, PA) in Sept 2025
Interview
Interviewed initially with hr and that was pretty straightforward. The next interview was with the engineering manager who asked more technical questions, some of which I didn't have experience with.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
What are some important specs when choosing a motor?
After applying, I was quickly contacted by a recruiter and scheduled a chat with the CEO about a week later. The conversation was polite but generic and more of an alignment check. Given that my background is directly in the robotics niche relevant to the position, it felt like a good match.
The CEO said I'd hear back within two weeks but it has now been over six months with no follow-up. For such a small startup, ghosting after an interview feels rather inappropriate. I would not recommend engaging with their hiring process.

Question 1
The conversation was guided by my background but remained superficial, without any specific or targeted questions.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Four Growers in Apr 2022
Interview
Had an interview with the CEO. The first part was mostly about my past experience and social skills. The second part became more technical and was mostly about coding, ROS, and robot kinematics.
