I applied to Forward in mid-September 2018 online. I got a quick response the next morning from a recruiter to set up a 30-min phone screening. The screening is a very typical initial interview touch-point and very informative about what the process will look like and the mission of the company (make sure to ask any clarifying questions, my interviewer was very kind!). After that, I was set up with an on-site interview with someone on the Growth Team (at HQ) and a tour of the SF medical office. It was really cool to get a tour of the site and get a better idea of what Forward is all about! This interview lasted all in all ~2.5 hours (between interview with recruiter, tour of the site, and interview with someone on the growth team). This interview was very behavioral and learning more about what they were looking for in a candidate/ day-to-day tasks. Next, was another onsite at Forward HQ where I was asked to prepare a presentation on an assigned problem (the topic is emailed a couple days before the scheduled presentation). The presentation was with 2 members of the growth team and the head of talent. Finally, the last step of the interview process was a 3rd onsite: this time with the CEO, and more members of the growth team— it's great to have had a chance to speak with the CEO and pick his brain about the company and its future. I heard back within under a week and accepted my offer.
TL;DR— 4 part interview process (Screening, Behavioral Onsite & Tour, Presentation, and Meeting w/ CEO). All in all, everyone is very nice and passionate about the company and the monumental problem they are seeking to fix!
