I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Fortitude Systems (Falls Church, VA) in Jul 2019
Interview
I was approached by a recruiter and we had an informal chat about the company and my background. I was then asked to do a video call so the recruiter could learn more about me. Following this I was invited to DC for an in-person interview, the flight and hotel expenses were paid for. The in-person interviews were not even interviews, they were more just conversations about whatever the employee felt like speaking about. Everyone there seemed to be very proud of the company and the work they are doing and friendly. My analysis is you could say whatever, but all that matters is they think your personality is the correct fit.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Fortitude Systems
Interview
Very straightforward, asked about you overall to try and get to know you as a person. The interviewers were easy to speak to. Use Glassdoor to prepare, it was super helpful.
The overall process was 4 stages with a final in-person interview.
The interviewers were friendly and open about all the possible opportunities at Fortitude Systems. I was interviewed by all former student-athletes other than one round.
I applied online. I interviewed at Fortitude Systems in Jan 2021
Interview
Super flaky... didn't follow up after the call. Sounded super interested at first, scheduling two calls that didn't really make a ton of sense. Left the second interview confused, feeling misled and like it was simply a waste of time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They didn't really ask anything valuable, the interviewer mostly just talked about himself the whole time.
