I applied in-person. I interviewed at Forever 21 (Palmdale, CA) in Jul 2012
Interview
It was pretty professional, as group interviews go. There were about ten of us, plus the interviewer in a conference room in the back of the store. She was very friendly and got straight to business. We all introduced ourselves, she asked us why we wanted to work there, what our strengths and weaknesses were, and a few other questions that were pretty general. At the end, she took us out into the store, had us pick out one item that we liked from one section and she asked us questions about it. I picked a skirt so she asked me what sort of shirt I would pick to go with it, what sort of accessories and shoes, who might wear it. She then sent us on our way.

Question 1
What are your greatest strengths and do you have any weaknesses you believe working here could improve?
It was an in-person interview. It was very easy, and a standard retail interview. lasted around 10 minutes. The manager asked some scenario questions but overall, the questions were pretty straightforward.
It was a casual group interview. I sat down with a manager and another girl who was applying. They just asked a few standard questions about us and our experience.
Interviewer did not seem very experienced. He was rushing the interview and only asked general questions such as where do you see yourself in 10 years… for an entry level job.
